Our Fee
For yoga classes we charge a nominal fee of £5 per session. Other classes are run on a donations basis. Ananda Marga is a registered charity and your donation helps us to provide classes for the community at minimum cost.
Our Yoga Classes
Our classes are gentle and healing. We keep yoga true to its spiritual roots. You will learn yoga postures that help to balance your glandular secretions and cakras, enhancing your awareness of your body and emotions. As we can only accommodate a small group of participants at a time you will benefit from more individual attention. All levels welcome. Please dress comfortably and refrain from eating 1.5 hours before the class. Most of our classes are drop-in. You can find more information about our classes on our website.
Yogic treatments and natural remedies
In this class you will learn how to use yoga postures, diet and herbs as well as how to adapt your lifestyle to help with various diseases, including digestive disorders, menstrual problems, asthma, diabetes, eczema, gall stones, rheumatism and other common ailments. No experience in yoga required.

Interested in Meditation?
Join Dada Jyotirupananda, a yogic monk and author, for practical meditation techniques and discussions on Wednesday. Try chanting, a powerful tool for the mind, on Thursdays and on the last Saturday of the month. Or come to the spiritual philosophy study group on Friday. You will have the chance to learn a personal meditation mantra and withdrawal technique, after discussion with your teacher.
Not sure where to start or too busy to join regular classes?
Our half-day spiritual seminar happening on every 2nd Saturday of the month is especially designed for you. Starting with a yoga posture class (14:30-16:00), followed by a talk on spirituality (16:00-17:00), chanting and meditation (17:00-18:00), and a yogic vegetarian meal. You can join at any point in the seminar. Attendance is free. Donations welcome. Booking required.
