DESCRIPTION:“Even a golden vessel needs polishing occasionally. Unmaintained it gathers dust and dirt and loses its lustre. Similarly, even a good person or a sádhaka needs proper maintenance, for in a world of constant change, care must be taken that the change be always towards the better or the higher. Keeping good company is essential for this positive development….good company is conducive to liberation and salvation. The keeping of good company is … known as satsauṋga. When satsauṋga is followed, either physically or mentally or both, the subconscious mind, and thus the conscious mind, are charged with better and higher influences. This change will move the follower forward towards higher and better goals.”\nAnanda Marga London Region invites you to our Spring Conference (Retreat).\nThis upcoming conference will be held in\nThe Wilderness Centre, Gloucester, (The Wilderness Centre (wilderness-centre.co.uk)) from Friday, April 7th (4 pm arrival) to Monday, April 10th (3 pm).\nActivities will include Akhanda Kiirtan, Dharmacakra, Classes on Spiritual topics, longer Avartha Kiirtan, Programmes for children, Prabhat Samgiit and Rawa night.\nDetails include:\nPrice for the entire seminar:\nAdult (18 and over) – £120\nChildren (8 and over) – £50\nUnder 8 years – No charge\n1 parent + 1 child – £153\n1 parent + 2 children – £198\n2 parents + 1 child – £261\n2 parents + 2 children – £306\nCamping – £80 (18 and over) and £35 (8 and over).\n(No camping equipment will be provided).\nYou will each need to bring your own bedding (only mattress and pillow provided).\nRegistration closes on 31st March.\nThis is necessary so that the organisers can make all the plans in time, including purchasing food and making arrangements for accommodation at the retreat centre and for the children’s programmes.\nWe do look forward to seeing you there.
